Support Engineer - Performance / DevOps / APM / Observability
Job Description
You Will:
- Work with customers and implement Observability solutions with New Relic, Datadog or AppDynamicsÂ
- Implement the next-gen Solutions for distributed systems at scale for our large and complex enterprise customers undergoing significant changes in their organizationsÂ
- Ensure the success of significant deployments like Cloud Migrations and Digital Transformations for major corporations through effective full stack monitoringÂ
- Lead the adoption, optimization, and integration of our products within customers’ business infrastructureÂ
- Evangelize new product features & provide customer feedback to product management and engineering groupsÂ
- Assist the Customer Success team in the post-sales technical process: installation, deployment, training, technical check-ups, and escalation managementÂ
- Maintain a deep understanding of the customer’s business as well as their technical environmentÂ
- Identifying performance bottlenecks, identifying anomalous system behavior, and resolving root cause of service issuesÂ
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalentÂ
- 5+ years hands-on experience in using any Application Performance Management tools – Datadog/New Relic/AppDynamics/DynatraceÂ
- Experience with end-user monitoring and/or synthetic monitoring products and solutions.
- Strong understanding of Security, Monitoring and Performance aspects of cloud-native platform and application architectures.Â
- Understanding of performance aspects of various programming languages: Java, .NET, NodeJS, Python, Ruby, PHP or GolangÂ
- End-user technologies: iOS, Android, JavaScript, HTML5, video playersÂ
- 2+ years hands-on experience with any cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Cloud Foundry/ OpenStackÂ
- Working knowledge of Docker containers, KubernetesÂ
- Experience with Open Tracing or Prometheus or Grafana for performance analysisÂ
- Knowledgeable about useful metrics, and how to work with them to track against goals/KPIs and DashboardsÂ
- Experience creating custom dashboards, creating alerts, and developing AIOps rules, and integration with alert monitoring and incident management systemsÂ
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.Â
- A clear understanding of network & system Management solutionsÂ
- Excellent organizational and project management skillsÂ
- Excellent communication, critical thinking & analytical skillsÂ
