Salary range: $60k-80k

What we are looking for:Kalepa is looking for an exceptional Support Operations Lead with 3+ years of experience to be a critical member of our Support team. We are a remote-friendly startup building software to transform and disrupt commercial insurance. Our HQ is located in New York City.

You will help build the pillars of Customer Support at Kalepa, specifically with Kalepa’s core product, Copilot. You will be working closely with Support Leadership, Product teams, Engineering teams, and, of course, our Support Staff. 

You will assist in the day-to-day operations of the support team - including Quality Assurance, subject matter leadership, and driving results to goal. Additionally, you will become an expert user of Copilot - familiar with all aspects of the product. 

​​Kalepa's team members bring experience from top technology, insurance, and intelligence institutions including Facebook, Google, Amazon, Uber, Doordash, Chubb, AIG, CNA, Willis Towers Watson, Mastercard, MIT, Berkeley, UPenn, and the Israel Defense Forces. 

Kalepa is backed by IA Ventures (early investors in Datadog, Wise, Better, Digital Ocean, TheTradeDesk, Flatiron Health, Komodo Health, etc.), Former Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker’s Inspired Capital, and leaders in financial services and technology including Gokul Rajaram from Doordash, Coinbase, and Square, Jackie Reses from Square, Affirm, and Alibaba, and Henry Ward from Carta.

In July 2021 we raised a $14 million Series A funding round led by Inspired Capital, with participation from previous investor IA Ventures.

About you:
  • You love to hustle: finding ways to get things done, destroying obstacles, and never taking no for an answer. The words “it can’t be done” don’t exist in your vocabulary.
  • You have experience providing coaching, guidance and effective continuous improvement.
  • Familiar with using Google Sheets/Excel in the context of Customer Support/Operations.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and are comfortable working under time pressure.
  • Metrics-Driven, with a knack for combining quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • You value open, frank, and respectful communication.
  • You are comfortable helping drive a team forward through a dynamic landscape.
  • You enjoy being a part of a collaborative, thoughtful, and purposeful environment.
As a plus:
  • Experience at a high-growth tech startup
  • Experience with Zendesk or other similar CRM’s
