Support Software Engineer

Fabletics is looking for a remote Software Engineer.

Fabletics is the global integrated business service provider behind several fashion brands. Our team combines the functions of data-driven marketing, technology, supply chain, fulfillment, and customer service all under one roof. Our integrated services builds and implements customized solutions to help brands launch, scale, and grow - both across product categories and geographically.

We are looking for a Software Engineer who is excited to learn and grow as part of the team that builds the Fabletics retail technology stack, while delivering cutting edge shopping experiences to millions of our consumers worldwide. You will collaborate with a high-performing and diverse squad of front and back-end engineers in conjunction with Product, Design, and Marketing teams. This is a hybrid role that will both support our retail operations teams with their technical needs and help contribute to the technology that we build to serve them.

This position will report to the Senior Director of Engineering, Mobile & Retail.

What you can bring:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly discuss problems and potential solutions to both technical and non-technical peers

• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to explore new code and technology for answers

• Proactive attitude and a willingness to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion

• Passion and enthusiasm for API development

• 1+ years of experience with JavaScript/Typescript

• 1+ years of experience with Node.js

• 1+ years of experience with Nest.js

• 1+ years of experience with REST, or other API styles

• A passion for quality and an attention to detail

• Comfortability and flexibility with occasional travel to HQ in Los Angeles to interface with teams face-to-face

Nice to have:

• SQL Skills

• React / React Native

• GraphQL

• Unit testing (TDD/BDD)

• Version control with Git

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Knowledge of retail stores and systems a plus

• Candidates with prior experience in system support or engineering will be considered

What you will work on:

• Support our retail stores by being a first stop to technical problems they are observing

• Perform initial troubleshooting of issues in the field

• Provide detailed information about newly found issues

• Develop fixes for issues in our technology stack

• Work with partners across DevOps, IT Ops and Retail Operations to ensure our systems are stable and online

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
