Job Description:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Responsible for greeting and checking patients in and out of clinic, via in-person or on the phone. Schedules patient appointments, takes client payment information, filing and other front desk tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedules of clinical staff appointments, appointment courtesy calls to patients, obtaining/updating client data and collection of co-pays.
  • Answers phone calls, emails and other electronic messages as required quickly and efficiently.
  • Collects, files, and organizing office documents, records and forms.
  • Checks clients in and out. Greets clients with personable and positive attitude to promote a service environment for individuals in need of behavioral health and/or co-occurring services that is recovery focused.
  • Enter TOM information into computer
  • May take payments and enter insurance information
  • Fax communication report to Doctor's offices
  • May cross train and perform duties of other support staff positions to help cover during absences.
  • May explain our services to consumers
  • Sorts incoming mail and distributes.

  • Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
