Job Description

Piedmont Oncology has an exciting opportunity for a fellowship trained breast surgeon to join our busy Breast Surgery practice at Piedmont Augusta Hospital. The ideal candidate will be board certified in general surgery and have successfully completed a fellowship in breast surgery, enjoy working in a collaborative manner with colleagues and support services, and eager to pursue excellence and innovation. Exception skills with surgical procedures related to breast cancer including mastectomies, lumpectomies, excisional biopsies, and port placement for chemotherapy along with other breast surgery general procedures is a must.
The NAPBC accredited Piedmont Augusta Breast Health Center provides multiple levels of support for patients throughout the continuum of their cancer journey and has a fully accredited Mobile Mammography program offering state-of-the-art 3D digital mammograms throughout the greater Augusta community. The annual Piedmont Augusta Foundation Miracle Mile Walk supports the mammography unit and other services for the patients under our physician's care.
