Surgical Registered Nurse

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will be skilled in various nursing practices. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Registered Nurse will also play a vital role in case management and may work with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine healthcare needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patients' progress and respond to changes in their condition.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in case management activities, ensuring continuity of care.
• Engage in diagnostic evaluations and assist with sonography as needed.
• Address occupational health concerns and provide guidance on workers' compensation law.
• Support patients requiring emergency medicine or long-term care services.
Requirements
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Experience in case management, emergency medicine, or long-term care is preferred.
• Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation techniques and sonography is a plus.
• Familiarity with occupational health practices and workers' compensation law is beneficial.
• Previous experience in travel nursing or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient advocacy.
