Surgical Tech-In-Training | North Surgery Center| Day

Overview: Full Time Position Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm Under the direction of a graduate Surgical Technol II and supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse, acquire the skill sets to assist the surgeon(s) by providing basic instrumentation and sterile techniques for procedures performed in the Operating Room. The Technol Surgical fellow is responsible for adopting both didactic and technical skills sets to safely handle and maintain surgical equipment, instrumentation, and supply management. The Technol Surgical fellow is responsible for preparing the operating rooms for surgery with all necessary items based on surgeon preference card.Qualifications: Required Education:High School Diploma or GED Vocational Training Preferred Education:Associate Degree Required Licensure/Certifications:N/A Required Experience:Less than one year of experience.
