Surveillance Tech - Las Vegas Properties

THE JOB:

As a Surveillance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our surveillance systems across all MGM Resorts International properties in Las Vegas, including corporate locations. Your responsibilities will include proficiently handling repairs, installations, and maintenance within the surveillance department, contributing directly to the safety and security of our esteemed clientele and facilities.

THE STARTING PAY RATE: $37.00/HR

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Take charge of the repair, installation, and meticulous upkeep of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems, cutting-edge digital Network Video Recorders (NVR) systems, advanced InfoGraphics Diamond II access control systems, and a comprehensive array of Surveillance cameras (both Analog & IP)
• Ensure the seamless integration and maintenance of analog/digital CCTV components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability at all time
• Spearhead the installation and maintenance of cutting-edge Fiber Optics systems, leveraging your expertise in low voltage technology to ensure unparalleled performance and reliability
• Responsible for establishing seamless connectivity across our network infrastructure, enhancing operational efficiency and enabling superior communication capabilities throughout our organization
• Proficient in navigating Windows operating systems and adept at utilizing a wide range of Microsoft applications including XP, Windows Server 2003, Linux, Apple OS, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio
• Drive the enhancement of computer and Network Video Recorder (NVR) systems through proficient software and hardware upgrades, ensuring peak performance and cutting-edge capabilities
• Drive and operate company vehicles to complete surveillance work on and off property, including utilizing specialized equipment such as scissor lifts and boom lifts

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Boasts a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in managing Digital Network Video Recorder (DNVR) Enterprise systems and proficiency in handling access control systems
• Proficient in fundamental computer skills, including a deep understanding of common software applications and a keen aptitude for Excel and other essential tools, coupled with expertise in low voltage systems and a robust command of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) technologies
• Thrives in a dynamic work environment that blends indoor and outdoor settings, adapting seamlessly to various elements while executing surveillance tasks with precision and efficiency
