Qualifications

The preferred candidate will have an Arizona PLS, plus ten (10) years of office mapping experience on private land development projects and public works projects.

Candidate must have:

• Thorough knowledge of Arizona Minimum Boundary Standards
• Local Civil Codes
• Leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills

Candidate should have experience with the following:

• Preparing CAD drawings of boundary surveys, Topographic Maps, ALTA/NSPS, Land Title Surveys, As-built surveys, subdivision maps and other survey drawings
• Processing with City and County agencies

Additional skills necessary for this position are:

• Project Management
• Business Development
• Proposal Writing and Estimating
• Ensure project goals are met on time
• Provide direction, support, and mentorship to lower-level staff members
• Time management/Schedule oversight
• Previous Field experience

Technical skills:

• Perform mapping research
• Boundary analysis
• Calculations
• Exhibits
• Legal description preparation
• Proficiency in Civil 3D is preferred
• Knowledge of Word, Bluebeam, and skills in Excel are preferred
• Familiarity with Trimble Business Center and Carlson software
