What we need:

Mohawk is looking for a Sustainability Data Analyst who can do more with Mohawk as we deepen our commitment to operating as a business that respects our planet and leaves a positive impact on the people and communities that we work with. Be a part of the dynamic and growing field of ESG data and reporting!

What you'll do:

• Support the Director and Sr. Engineer with all ESG data efforts including energy and emissions, water, waste, and people data.
• Provide data for enhanced external ESG Reporting, including the annual ESG Report, CDP, DJSI, SASB, TCFD, and GRI, as well as climate disclosures as part of regulatory reporting, including SEC and EU CSRD
• Enable sustainability team to performance manage sustainability targets through ESG KPI and metrics tracking
• Work closely with cross-functional, cross-geography business teams to create, enhance or maintain data collection process flows
• Support finance and internal audit with the creation and enhancement of ESG data governance controls ahead of compliance
• Lead the maintenance of existing data systems and assist in the establishment of new systems
• Create and implement accuracy checks and measures and processes for systems reconciliation
• Analyze collected data for accuracy and completion and assist finance and accounting partners in validations
• Drive efficiency in data processes and enhance systems capabilities
• Build dashboards and provide reporting for leadership to drive business decisions
• Continuous learning in trends in sustainability targets and goals, such as SBT, Net Zero, water-related, circularity-related goals, DEI-related goals, biodiversity-related goals, etc.

What you have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, information systems, software engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or related technical field required
• 3 to 4 years of experience implementing and coordinating data processes and programs OR 2 to 3 years advanced education and experience in related field
• Advanced experience with Excel required; PowerBI,Tableau experience preferred
• Experience with SAP, energy management tools, APIs welcomed

• Understanding data flows and how to build efficient, replicable processes
• Creating strong data governance
• Database development and maintenance
• Modeling off of large data sets
• Working independently or collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team, with strong personal organization, poise and professionalism
• Communicating effectively with a wide range of individuals in written, oral and interpersonal form
• Staying organized and paying attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

• Some travel required (25% or less)
