As the Sustainability Initiatives Lead, you will join the Corporate Impact team to primarily lead the strategy and execution of Guardian's environmental initiatives and measurement, and its supplier equity & inclusion programs. You will also collaborate on other high-priority projects for Corporate Impact.

You will:
- Report to the Head of Corporate Impact and collaborate with the various workstream leads across the enterprise to help drive results and support Guardian's broader corporate impact strategy
- Provide strategic management of Guardian's environmental initiatives, including sustainability related information and metrics for regulatory/state agency reporting and RFP responses, plus recycling programs
- Work with internal and external strategic partners to oversee the existing supplier equity & inclusion programs that help businesses with diverse ownership gain access to opportunities within Guardian; as necessary, provide standard processes to build a more robust program
- Build awareness for Guardian's sustainable best practices, sustainable procurement and supplier equity & inclusion activities as a part of a comprehensive corporate impact visibility plan
- Implement best practices to optimize the use of environmental resources tied to Guardian's workforce, including remote workers; partner with facilities to review building services and incorporate sustainable practices when feasible and cost effective
- Update supplier equity & inclusion and sustainability-related policies; develop and add disclosures, as required
- Track and coordinate logistics for Guardian's recycling programs, including pick up, cost, and reporting
- Manage or collaborate on additional ad hoc Corporate Impact projects, often with a cross-functional group of workstream leads
You have:
- Experience with greenhouse gas data collection standards, and platforms
- Knowledge of Scope 1,2 and 3 distinctions and calculation requirements, along with climate change regulatory agencies, frameworks and associated industry organizations
- Familiarity with recycling programs which include electronic equipment, landfill, and organic waste
- Proficiency with sourcing/contracting operations and understanding of the equity and inclusion supplier marketplace across multiple categories
- Ability to track diversity spend analytics to include Tier 2
- Strong proficiency with MS Office suite

Location
- Hybrid, with two days per week in one of our office locations
- Primary location may be based in Hudson Yards NYC, Holmdel NJ, or Bethlehem PA
Salary Range
$99,190.00 - $162,955.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
