Sustainability Lead

This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office/two days remote).

What will be your responsibilities within IBKR: 

• Develop, implement, manage, and measure key Environmental, Social and Governance and Sustainability programs across the Interactive Brokers Group of companies.
• Work with our key internal stakeholders to execute a strategy to achieve sustainability goals.
• Build a platform and structure in which information and key metrics on sustainability are communicated to key stakeholders.
• Produce reporting consistent with global ESG standards and frameworks, including SASB and the Global Reporting Initiative.
• Function as IBKR’s ESG subject matter expert on new trends and regulations in sustainability.
• Partner with the HR and Talent Teams on related people initiatives.

Which skills are required:

• 5-7 years of work experience in the financial sector and relevant experience in ESG matters or a related field.
• Proven track record of building and implementing sustainability programs
• Strong understanding of ESG in corporate finance and investing
• Experience working with frameworks and reporting standards such as SDGs, TCFD, SASB, and GRI.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to structure and advance multiple cross-functional initiatives simultaneously while effectively managing complex, sensitive data
• Excellent communicator across a range of audiences
• Experience working with European Union ESG initiatives is a plus.
