Sustainability Manager

As a Sustainability Manager, you'll be responsible to support the data collection, development and implementation of company-wide sustainability and environmental strategies, policies, training and regulatory compliance. This includes collecting data and providing direction on environmental regulatory compliance and maintaining company wide environmental and sustainability key performance metrics to support continuous improvement toward corporate and local sustainability goals.

What You'll Do:

• Point of Contact for the organization concerning Sustainability.
• Leading Sustainability projects globally, engage with local team members regionally to achieve goals.
• Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve CSafe Sustainability goals and policies.
• Data collection and analyzation, including but not limited to GHG, maintain our regulatory requirements and our Science Based Targets.
• Implement activities to support achieving CSafe's Science Based Targets.
• Manage key sustainability performance metrics and communicate those throughout the company.
• Implement environmental compliance policies internally by supporting the creation of and maintaining training and informational tools.
• Support continuous improvement toward sustainability targets by managing data for goal setting, building a system for sharing best practices, and supporting the implementation of sustainability projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental sciences or a related field or equivalent on-the-job work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in environmental position.
• Experience with collecting company data on GHG emissions.
• Understand the basic concepts of greenhouse gas emissions, conservation and sustainable development, including energy conservation, waste management, resource and water conservation and environmental reporting metrics.
• Solid understanding of federal government and regulatory requirements.
• Able to understand government requirements of the locations where CSafe has a facility.
• Must be self-motivated and be able to perform routine tasks independently.
• High level working knowledge in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
• Established history of successfully performing audits.
• Some statistical knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate sustainability initiatives and needs to the executive leadership, front line staff and customers.
