Job Summary

Responsible for management of third-party vendor teams to ensure the delivery of services to meet schedule, quality, and budget objectives.

- Provides real-time feedback to key stakeholders of innovative Quality and DevSecOps Automation solutions

- Provides periodic status reports and manages delivery escalations

- Manage the consistent communication between OA and vendor teams during collaborative and innovative initiatives

- Partner with IT Business Operations team for smooth invoice processing

- Drives delivery improvement opportunities

- Identifies cost saving opportunities

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

- Work with the Sr. Director of Quality, AppSec, & ITSM, the Quality Practice Lead, and two technical team leads to manage and coordinate IT Quality improvement opportunities identified during innovative strategic planning with other IT leaders

- Recommend changes in programs, processes, and quality control standards

- Collaborate with IT, vendor leaders and engineers to create goals, objectives, define scope, and implement Quality and DevSecOps Automation opportunities

- Collaboratively assist the Sr. Director of Quality, AppSec, and ITSM with managing multiple projects, deliverables, and the coordination and direction of vendor relationships for Quality and DevSecOps Automation resources

- Proactively manages project risks and develop mitigation plans

- Analyze problems, capabilities and KPIs, work with the Sr. Director of Quality, AppSec, and ITSM to develop solutions and strategies for improved operating procedures, alternative processing methods, communications, information flow, management reporting, and operational efficiency

- Responsible for identifying, evaluating, and maintaining continual Quality improvement opportunities by analyzing ITSM and SDLC system data to improve quality, reduce waste, and maximize value delivery

- Prepare, document, and communicate various reports of agile project delivery.

- Responsible for developing best practices and leading adherence to OneAmerica IT best practices in Quality DevSecOps, aligned to business outcomes

Job Requirements

Required Education and/or Certifications

  • 7+ years of relevant IT services delivery experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience in Quality or Enteprise Applications management


Recommended Education and/or Certifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree or higher in Management and/or Computer Science major desirable or 7+ years of proven Quality, Testing, Cloud Operations, or Enteprise Applications automation, work experience


Required Work Experience

  • 7+ years of IT Enterprise Applications experience and leading teams, contractors, and delivery professionals in an on-shore, and near/off-shore environment
  • Strong experience within Software Development Life Cycle preferred
  • Experience leading in an Agile delivery methodology and reporting in SDLC tool
  • Experience being a thought leader in a Quality and DevSecOps strategic context
  • Reporting experience in ITSM system preferred
  • Experience implementing enterprise-wide systems and applications utilizing project management best practices and methodologies
  • Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background


Salary Band: 07B

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN.The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in IN as business needs dictate or for team building and collaboration.
