Job Description
Job Summary
The Head of Product and Category Management for B2B will have full end-to-end ownership and full product P/L accountability for the B2b category. This senior leader will report to the EVP, Chief Growth Officer with a GM approach focused on delivering a comprehensive and competitive portfolio, product lifecycle strategy and plan to drive profitable revenue, subscriber growth, market share gain, and retention to achieve and exceed corporate budget plan objectives.
Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for the strategy of the "4P's" of product management within product portfolio
- Accountable for product P/L and achieving and exceeding corporate budget plan objectives - includes driving profitable revenue, subscriber growth, market share gain, and retention
- Creates and articulates Category growth vision for cross functional partners
- Ensure a competitive portfolio with the right products, price, line logic, promotion and channel enablement to maxims revenue, growth and loyalty
- Perform comprehensive assessment of market conditions, trends, and competitive service offerings to determine Optimum 1st party and 3rd party product portfolio gaps and identify market opportunities
- Gather feedback from Sales, industry ecosystem, analysts and customers to prioritize product development and acquisition of strategic partnership opportunities for launch of products and solutions into the marketplace
- Working with Sales, establish best practice 3rd party partner deals desk and joint selling processes
- Ownership for identification, integration and portfolio management of 3rd party partnership solutions to complement Optimum B2B services value proposition across targeted segments
- Drive sustainable and accurate forecast throughout the different phases of the opportunity funnel process to ensure consistent predictability of profitable growth
- Strong and active strategic and execution partnership with key cross functional teams to ensure successful category management of product portfolio
- Innovate new unique selling points (USPs) for current and future connectivity solutions, and partner tightly with Product Development and Product Operations to plan and enable development of amazing and successful products and services
- Create compelling data driven customer and user stories and business requirements to drive customer experience journeys and drive conversion across the footprint and incorporating more hyper local market needs/opportunities

Qualifications
- BA required/MA or MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10+ years in B2B leadership role
- Experience in business transformation with a proven track record of consistent delivery against business plans and targets
- P&L leadership and mindset with a strong track record of growth
- Strong financial analysis capabilities
- Proven experience building a culture of data-driven decision-making, action, and delivery
- Proven ability to collaborate across growth, technology, sales, operations, and marketing teams to optimize and expand product offerings and solutions while driving growth and delivering of customer promise
- Robust understanding of consumer behavior
- Proven executive presence, strategic capabilities, effective collaborator, and superior influencing skills
- Demonstrated experience developing and providing sound, data-driven guidance and decisions to senior business leadership on sales strategies and performance
- Demonstrates influential leadership with authentic motivation capabilities, and proven ability to successfully manage through transformation and change

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $250,000.00 - $287,500.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
