Innovative fast growing, global cyber Security Company looking for strong and experienced candidate to enable the Human Resources function for North America. Qualys is experiencing significant growth and this position will be instrumental in all strategic initiatives.
The Vice President will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer, and will collaborate with senior leadership to establish and execute the strategic direction for delivering overall HR operational excellence and business-rooted employee growth, satisfaction and engagement strategies, and Talent Acquisition strategies.
This role leads the development and continuous improvement of the HR & Recruitment functions in collaboration with senior leadership and other functional leaders to continue to build a world-class HR organization. Thus, the ideal candidate must demonstrate a combination of strong business acumen and significant Human Resources functional knowledge to guide the policies and strategies that provide partnership to the business and the employees.
Bring about effective diagnosis of business issues and strategies turning them into HR action plans, with integrated interventions and solutions that will deliver against key business priorities
Guide and mentor a team of HR Professionals aligned to their respective groups as they strive to facilitate HR operational excellence through soliciting, gathering, and evaluating the overall business needs
Work closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer in reviewing, evaluating and managing the HR & Recruitment functions
Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team and pull from previous experience to ensure the business defines, attracts, develops, and retains high-quality talent at all levels to support the growth objectives, opportunities, and strategies of the company
Support managers in the implementation of strategies and policies regarding Intellectual Capital which includes talent development, performance management, and talent acquisition as well as compensation and benefits, employee relations and HR related communication
Provide ongoing analysis of organizational health by analyzing trends in employee engagement, retention, etc.
Develop and deliver programs to increase manager capabilities and employee engagement
Thoughtfully communicate status of key initiatives and programs as necessary at all levels of the company
Ensure statutory compliance is managed and adhered to accordingly by liaising with government authorities appointed under various labor and controlling Acts
Having sound knowledge about HR laws, should be able to lead, implement, and uphold all relevant statutory laws and regulations
Effectively coach line and senior management in matters related to people and HR processes
Create and foster and environment of best practice and drive the organization towards being an employer of choiceQualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related discipline
Minimum four years’ of prior senior management level experience in Human Resources
Proven track record of recruiting and developing top talent along with a proven track record of bringing about operational excellence
Professional level ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and employees
High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities
Results and people oriented, but have sound judgment—ability to balance other business considerations; service oriented, but assertive/persuasive
Demonstrated skills in influencing others, interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
Advanced knowledge of HR laws, policies, programs, and procedures
Experience within a high-growth technology company strongly preferred
