About The Role
Teads is looking for a world-class Senior Vice President of Marketing to lead our team in North America. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, visionary leader and manager who can roll their sleeves up and architect a best in class marketing framework that informs partners, industry leaders and employees of Teads' mission and vision.
This role will oversee marketing efforts including promotional efforts across digital marketing, events, sales marketing and communications for the region. This person will grow and expand a team that brings to life a clear and differentiated story that resonates at the intersection of tech, media, and entertainment industry. The position reports to the Global Chief Marketing Officer.
Responsibilities
- Galvanize Teads sales and external sales team, educating on Teads offerings including pushing top priorities and distilling information into critical selling points.
- Lead the creation of sales marketing collateral positioning for Teads; Includes brand narrative, audience & data segments, sales decks, B2B event opportunities ensuring consistency across North America market.
- Own an annual budget, managing the budget resourcefully and finding entrepreneurial ways to deliver unique experiences to customers.
- Own communication to leadership on key marketing activities, develop quarterly business reviews, providing practical sales and client success insights.
- Coordinate the post-sale execution of case studies and custom brand programs, driving process excellence, flawless execution, and client happiness.
- Own event strategy and tentpole planning.
- Develop and execute content strategy embodying Teads core messaging across sales, digital, thought leadership marketing.
- Own and manage all award entries and submissions.
- Leading all aspects of day-to-day activities of the marketing team.
Scope & Impact
- Coordinate with Marketing leadership in LATAM, EMEA and APAC, ensuring unified strategy on global opportunities and assets
- Maintain a pulse on the media industry, understanding the needs and wants of the buying community
- Contribute to in-bound RFP requests, priority strategic client programs, and business-wide sales growth initiatives
Relationships
- Own direct relationships with Sales leadership across the region and be the go-to resource for Marketing.
- Partner with Product Innovation teams, to identify and build revenue generating opportunities
- Partner with business intelligence and ad sales research teams to build narratives that support revenue growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field required.
- 15+ years of proven marketing experience in media, tech and/or entertainment with a focus on data, technology or platforms.
- You can take technical and analytic concepts and communicate them in simple and compelling ways.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high impact strategic external marketing plans and results.
- Well versed in managing complex issues and multiple priorities with sound judgment and adaptability.
- Strong media relations experience and relationships not only with traditional journalists but with emerging outlets.
- Excellent writer and detail-oriented editor with eye for detail and creative excellence.
- Accomplished communicator and presenter with a track record of success and exceptional business partnering at all levels of an organization.
