This position is ideally located in Chicago, IL or Redwood City, CA. 

About the role

We are searching for an SVP of Product who will lead and drive the strategic vision of our offerings as well as lead our product and design team. This leader will partner with company-wide senior leadership to ideate and improve both our B2B (SaaS) and B2C (Klover) products through their full product lifecycle. 

Our Product Team (product managers, designers & researchers) work together at the earliest stages of ideation; prototyping, design, acceptance testing and user testing. In close collaboration with our engineering leadership team, this individual will be responsible for aligning our business goals and objectives with creative and technical feedback from across the organization as well as from our customer base. This role will report to the Chief Executive Officer. 

Preferred Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in leading product management and product design functions; ideally in startup environments in the financial tech, data and/or SaaS space
• 10+ years of mobile application experience, as well as SaaS products are strongly preferred
• 10+ years directly leading and managing teams
• An advanced degree in product leadership, business administration, marketing, finance, economics or equivalent, strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

What a typical week might look like

• Lead the product vision for the organization through identifying market gaps and commercially accretive business opportunities
• Lead the strategy for user feedback, research, as well as utilize a deep understanding of customer pain points as a vehicle for iteration
• Establish best practices for cohesive product design & delivery strategy 
• Create and develop the existing and future workflow of our product managers and engineers in collaboration with our engineering leadership team
• Lead the product team to build iteration workflows by understanding requirements and establishing vision in alignment with business priorities
• Seek constant and continuous feedback from key partners and teams (engineering, marketing and sales)
• Evaluate metrics and KPIs based on agile product iterations and deliverable timeline, in accordance with company-wide business goals and objectives, as well as analyze and synthesize data
• Develop and lead a team of product managers, designers & researchers at a variety of levels; including the talent acquisition process

At the end of your first year, you’ll have helped us

• Own and amplify our newly launched B2B brand, and how our products on both B2B and B2C businesses unite our unique offerings
• Establish timely & well-executed deliveries of new products & features
• Build and develop a team of seasoned product and design professionals; coaching, mentoring and supporting their professional goals in tandem with the broader organization
• Amplify the tremendous value of our products to our users and provide thought leadership
