Our Senior Vice President of Measurement & Performance Analytics will drive a culture of data-driven insights throughout the agency, working collaboratively with our brand, engagement, media, and scientific strategy teams to illuminate the “data narrative” that lights the path ahead. As the lead of the Measurement & Performance Analytics team, you will set the vision for how data is used at the agency as well as design and implement innovative analytics ecosystems and insights that align with holistic engagement strategies to solve our clients’ business problems. You are a strong leader and communicator who is able to clearly articulate insights to internal stakeholders and clients, inspiring a team of data and cultural enthusiasts to enhance our analytics offerings.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end design and execution of analytics projects focused on macro-level client goals/KPIs (business related metrics, awareness indicators, media performance and communications measurement), while cultivating strong relationships internally and externally; develop custom offerings depending on client needs in order to deliver the most targeted and actionable insights.
- Assimilate large amounts of data, identify data nuances to optimize our clients’ business, and articulate/visualize findings for internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner with innovation team to aggregate channel specific KPIs into overarching client insights; evolve unique agency POV on measuring and tracking and reporting on media performance; Engage client stakeholders to understand how measurement will address business needs
- Manage multiple project teams simultaneously, overseeing collection and analysis of relevant data, reports/dashboards, presentations to clients and ensuring established processes are followed to deliver results that meet the highest quality standards.
- Employ a wide range of performance and media listening platforms to measure impact and recommend optimizations for our clients
- Lead development of narratives for findings; drafting of proposals and statements of work for new opportunities with existing clients.
- Develop pricing for proposed measurement and research projects.
- Provide senior oversight and mentoring to team of analytics professionals, as well as visionary leadership around the use of data across the agency
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Data Management, Statistics, Mathematics, or related major
- At least 10 years of agency or client-side digital/traditional analytics experience, healthcare experience strongly preferred
- Hands on experience overseeing strategic, program, tactical and measurement planning, analysis and insights (full-funnel), including extensive experience in digital analytics, predictive modeling and statistical analysis, social media mining, influencer identification and data visualization
- Background and knowledge of attribution modeling and how those insights ensure ongoing campaign success across channels
- Understanding of broader media planning and buying – to ensure integration / coordination with wider media objectives occur
- Highly experienced in the use of web analytics, ad-serving, and data management platforms such as Google Tag Manager, Google DFA, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads,and Google/Adobe Analytics.
- Strong knowledge of the social media landscape, including emerging platforms and best practices.
- Experience in creating client facing dashboards with Tableau, Google Data Studio, or other business intelligence and data visualization software .
- Strong understanding of multi-modal research approaches, leveraging novel data sets and methodologies to deliver impact
- Demonstrated success in helping clients take concrete actions based on analytics and data
- Creative thinker who is willing to think outside of the box and consistently look for opportunities to improve current capabilities and processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated success managing and motivating teams
The anticipated salary range for this position will be $175K-$235K. Salary is based on job-related factors such as: years of relevant experience, qualifications and/or certifications. Spectrum reserves the right to modify this pay range at any given time.
You choose where you work. We are a hybrid work environment with options to work in one of our four offices (DC, NYC, Chicago and Atlanta), remotely anywhere in the United States, or a combination.
