Job Summary

The SVP of Trade Sales provides leadership to the trade sales department and is responsible for building and managing the trade sales team for Crystal and spearheading all trade sales strategies to drive revenue growth and accomplish financial objectives. This role will develop processes to effectively analyze the business environment, identify, and enhance performance, and understand competitors. The SVP of Trade Sales will collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify market needs and drive innovation.

Essential Job Duties

  • Discover and develop innovative execute trade sales strategies to achieve desired revenue goals.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of creative sales programs designed to increase market share and grow customer base for all products.
  • Create, monitor, and adjust budgets for all sales initiatives while ensuring adherence to company fiscal responsibility guidelines.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify new business opportunities and optimize existing ones.
  • Develop and deliver presentations on sales strategies and results to executive management and board of directors.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure that the trade sales team is operating at peak efficiency.
  • Builds effective sales and support teams with recruiting and mentoring.

Work Environment

Works in a typical office environment with quiet-to-moderate noise generated by computer printer, fax machine and light traffic. Traveling will be required at least fifty percent (50%) of the time, including internationally.

Physical Demands

Requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching. May require lifting or pushing up to 25 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, the telephone, and other office equipment.

Expected Hours of Work

The position is full-time and frequently requires working additional time outside of normal business hours.

Requirements

Education: bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, marketing, or finance.

Experience:

  • 10 - 15 years in sales leadership roles, driving and implementing revenue growth, preferably in the Trade space.
  • Proven track record of achieving quotas through effective management and coaching.
  • Experience developing and executing business strategy.
  • History of decision-making based on business metrics.
  • Inspirational leadership style and hands-on approach
  • Strong technical experience with Travel Studio and other commercial tools
  • Strong budgeting and ROI analysis capabilities
