How You Will Contribute:

As a member of Product Verification NetOps team, you will be working to support system level testing of next generation products. The position includes exposure to a wide variety of routing and switching equipment, servers/services, and tool creation/maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain tools that will enhance the team’s ability to perform vital network operation activities
• Live support of the network infrastructure, including maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting to support active testing on routing, switching and server applications
• Trial and deploy services that emulate customer operations
• Participate in network security and vulnerability testing
• Participate in security product evaluations
• Tools and Automation development

The Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or information technology
• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Experience with Python, Bash/Shell Scripting and GIT.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows OS
• Experience working in a network admin environment - Routing/Switching/Subnetting
• Building and maintaining databases

Desired Skills:

• CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or other routing and switching certifications
• CompTIA Security+ or other network security certificates
