We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Execution manager for Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT) to join our team. The Execution Manager will follow established objectives by setting priorities, delegation, and team building to effectively manage SWATT execution. The duties also include managing customer relations, executing Surface & Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) and Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona Division strategic direction by creating and promoting a shared vision of a successful SWATT execution.
What You'll Get to Do:
- Mentor and mature knowledge of entry-level analysts in Navy concepts, analytical capabilities and processes, while fostering morale and confidence within the workforce.
- Review, advise, and consult on analysis reports and briefs during development and reporting.
- Research, advise, and utilize existing analytical tools and processes, collaborating to update and create new tools to support emerging requirements.
- C4I Systems Integration
- Technical Writing
- Operations/Training Analysis
- Application and use of Analytical tools
- Interoperability Assessments
- Combat Systems data dictionaries and processing
- Surface ship command and control and warfare systems with a thorough understanding of their systems engineering principles and operational use.
- Testing and Evaluation of Naval combat systems elements during fleet training exercises and operations as well as Navy laboratory testing.
- Unique combination of project management and technical skills.
More About the Role:
The Execution manager is responsible for pre-execution ship checks of Navy ship combat systems data collection systems, training of future Weapons Systems Analyst (WSA) and Data Collection Coordinator (DCC) riders, ensuring correct media is made available for each unit, specific media recording tools are inventoried and provided to the ship riders, brief senior SMWDC and Cruiser/Destroyer (CRUDES)/Amphibious Readiness Group (ARG) leadership of Combat System data extraction capability status, and maintain and mange rider Media Transfer Authority (MTA) status and other qualifications as well as your own.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- Obtain and Maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline or have six years of equivalent experience.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Excellent skills in MS Power Point
- Knowledge and experience using MS Excel
- Be familiar with all branches and expertise of NSWC Corona
- Experience using RAGUI and PET.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
- Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities which are critical for success.
- Ability to participate and present at Mid Planning and Final Planning Conferences.
- Brief at high level WTI meetings.
- Ability to work flexible work hours.
- Ability to prioritize, execute tasks, and meet deadlines that cannot be moved.
- Ability to travel or complete TAD of 25% annually.
