System Administration Senior Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Administration Senior Specialist to join our IT Operation and Control Room department.

What you’ll do:

• Reporting to the Discipline Leader and working alongside operations teams, the System Administration Senior Specialisthave will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical systems and infrastructure that support the operations of our entertainment platforms.

• You will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical expertise to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems.

• You will be responsible to implement and manage system monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes to ensure optimal system performance and availability.

• You will be knowledgeable to troubleshoot complex technical issues related to hardware, software, and network infrastructure, and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.

• You will be able to collaborate with internal teams, including developers, network engineers, and database administrators, to optimize system performance, scalability, and security.

• You will need to plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring minimal impact on ongoing operations.

Who you are:

• You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role;

• You have experience working with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces.

• You have strong knowledge of systems and infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms.

• You have experience in designing, implementing, and supporting high-availability systems and disaster recovery solutions.

• You are proficient in scripting and automation tools, such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

• You have a solid understanding of IT security principles and best practices.

• You possess excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• You have strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

• You are a proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and staying abreast of emerging technologies.

• You have the willingness to work on-call and standby shifts to provide support for critcal system issues outside regular working hours.

Preferably, you also have:

• Skill relative ad Automation and Ansible / Terraform, Vmware.

• Skills in system monitoring such as : Nagios

• Skills in San Storage

• Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (Oracle, Azure)

• Industry certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
