Responsibilities

Our System Adminstrators are experienced professionals who provide system adminstration expertise to our clients. They work directly with teammates and our National Security clients to execute the following job responsibilities:
  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
  • Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
  • Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
  • Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process.
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Qualifications

The following qualifications are REQUIRED to be considered for this role:
  • An CURRENT and ACIVE TOP SECRET/SCI clearance with COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) polygraph
    • Must be willing to upgrade polygraph to a FULL SCOPE
  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
    • Five (5) years of additional system administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
  • Fourteen (14) years experience as a system engineer
  • Demonstrated experience providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
  • Proven ability to manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems, as well as provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
  • Demonstrated experience providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
  • Proven ability to provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience providing support for the escalation and communication of status and analysis to clients and internal customers
  • Demonstrated experience optimizing system operations and resource utilization, and performing system capacity analysis and planning
  • Proven ability to configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware
  • Understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing and resolving complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration
