Position Description:

CGI is looking for a System Administrator to join our team!

This is an entry level role to assist in the development and transformation of systems leveraging an Automation first model. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, able to multitask, can work independently and is a team performer. You should also have a proactive approach to identify problems before they happen and implement solutions that detect and prevent outages.

This role can be located at any CGI office in the U.S. however, preferred location is Phoenix, AZ.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Streamline operations by thinking "automation first" • Collaborate with other teams and external vendors to deliver quality solutions to our clients.• Be responsive to the business, colleagues, vendors and management• After hour and week-end availability for support is required in this role• Participation in on-call rotation expected

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, etc.)• Experience with SDLC tools (Bitbucket, GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.)• Experience working with configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Rundeck, etc.)• Experience managing infrastructure environments with IoC (Infrastructure as Code) methodology• Knowledge of Server Operating systems with an emphasis on Microsoft and Linux

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reason able estimate of the current range is $48,400 - $123,800.
