Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Administration of VMWare vSphere ESXi and vCenter
• Administration of VMWare hosts and provisioning of VM guests
• Troubleshoot and resolve environment issues reported by developers, IV V testers or system-generated alerts for both Linux and Windows systems
• Perform routine system configuration changes upgrades
• Perform backups of non-production systems ensure restore processes are functional
• Support, maintenance, patching, and upgrades of existing servers
• Administration of users/groups/privileges within Active Directory

Requirements

Requirements:

• Experience with Linux (RHEL and OEL) administration

• Experience in VMware ESX Enterprise administration
• Experience with NetApp storage device a plus - experience in Netapp 7-mode and cluster-mode configuration and support
• Experience with Netapp Snap suite of products a plus - Snapmirror, Virtual Storage console, SnapCenter, etc., ISCSI, NFS, CIFS
• Proactive approach to problem solving
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong documentation, diagramming, and reporting skills
• Scripting and automation a plus: shell scripts (bash), Ansible, Puppet
• Secret Security Clearance is required for this position
• Five year's experience

Plusses

• Relevant technical certifications highly desired: RHCSA, RHCE, CCNA, MCSE, Network+, Security+
• Experience with networking equipment including routers, firewalls, and switches a plus
