System Administrator - AV

This team is a small, efficient group that works together to architect, create, deploy, and monitor the on-prem system infrastructure and services used by Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove. By utilizing and developing automated software deployment and virtual infrastructure, the team maintains our corporate standards and principles within the environment. Primary Responsibilities

An AV systems administrator will primarily focus on all our AV needs and assist the infrastructure team in day-to-day operational tasks as time allows. This will include monitoring and auditing of AV and other equipment, coordinating vendor support, maintaining license compliance and renewals of subscription services. In addition to the operational side, this position will manage new AV projects which include all aspects of the project from quoting, justification, capital funding request creation, commissioning and decommissioning. They will also play a large role ensuring systems are in compliance for patching and assist in the deployment of software and updates to corporate assets. This role will also assist the systems engineering team in their operational tasks as needed.

Strategy & Planning

• Work with AV vendors and AV architect to create AV roadmaps.
• Plan AV improvements and upgrades to existing rooms and new facility buildouts.
• Participate in review of infrastructure and service implementation; conduct capacity planning as needed.
• Participate in creation of the policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure infrastructure and service security.
• Assess existing environments for opportunities to simplify, automate or introduce increased efficiency to complex technical processes.

Operational Management

• Conduct routine AV audits and perform any corrective actions needed to ensure smooth operations for our business
• Deploy AV solutions to conference rooms while coordinating with vendors and facilities teams.
• Provide solution support and foundational infrastructure configuration changes across on-prem environments.
• Ensure availability, monitoring and capacity of production and non-production environments.
• Participate in the testing of infrastructure performance and provide performance statistics and reporting; develop strategies for maintaining infrastructure.
• Maintain enterprise directory services and supporting infrastructure.
• Responsible for alerting mitigation from system monitoring software
• Triage of service tickets to ensure proper information is entered and the ticket is assigned properly
• Participate in budget recommendations.
