Where You'll Come InWe are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable System Administrator professional to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration and helpdesk support, with expertise in managing macOS environments and cloud operations. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining system infrastructure, and ensuring smooth operations for our organization's IT systems. This role requires a strong understanding of macOS platforms, cloud technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all system-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain macOS operating systems, applications, and hardware devices.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within the macOS and Google Workspace environments.
- Monitor and maintain system performance, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and ensuring optimal system functionality.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify potential security vulnerabilities and implement appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement IT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
- Provide technical support to end-users, both remotely and in person, resolving IT-related issues promptly and efficiently.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
- Manage and support various IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Utilize cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to deploy and manage infrastructure, applications, and services.
- Monitor and maintain cloud resources, ensuring performance, availability, and scalability.
- Implement and optimize cloud security measures, including identity and access management, data encryption, and network security.
- Collaborate with development teams to facilitate the deployment and integration of applications in cloud environments.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements to enhance system performance, efficiency, and cloud operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration and helpdesk support.
- Must have strong conversational English
- Extensive experience in managing macOS environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Familiarity with cloud-based authentication systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including infrastructure deployment, management, and optimization.
- Knowledge of cloud security practices and technologies.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with end-users at all levels of technical expertise.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
- Relevant certifications, such as Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (ACTC), or cloud certifications, are a plus.
- Must be located in Greater Chennai. Tensure offers a Hybrid work environment, so you will need to be located in the Greater Chennai area to be able to work at the Guindy/Adyar office 3 days a week

Base salary:
₹15,00,000 INR - ₹20,00,000 INR based on experience
