System Administrator (Computer & Storage team)

We are looking for a System Administrator to empower our team of experienced engineers. We will be fighting side-by-side with real production problems, maintaining petabytes of data and thousands of servers in more than 50 data centers over the world. The candidate must possess the skills to deploy and maintain existing data center infrastructure based on Linux (RHEL-based), be able to communicate in English with vendor support via email and phone, and show strong skills in the automation of his working process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

• Deploy and maintain hardware and software components in remote datacenters
• Hardware and software monitoring and maintenance
• Managing and troubleshooting of the Linux-based infrastructure of the remote DC
• Evaluate and modify the system's performance
• Develop simple automation for daily tasks
• Document DC infrastructure and typical operations

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)  

• 3+ years of experience in remote Datacenter System Administration
• Deep Linux Operating System Skills (CentOS preferably) including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, patching, maintenance, and firmware/bios update
• Advanced server hardware management and maintenance skills including drives, RAID, and host-based adapters.
• Understanding of TCP/IP stack and advanced networking skills including troubleshooting, patch maintenance and recovery, DHCP, routing, and VLAN.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, fluent English.

WOULD BE A PLUS:

• Certifications: Linux (RHCA, RCHE or RHCSA) certifications, etc.
• Automation skills on Ansible and Python.
• Basic SQL scripting.
