The Role You'll Play

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our IT team. This role involves not only providing top-notch internal support but also some level of responsibility for our customer-facing production systems. You'll play a critical part in maintaining our internal IT operations while helping to monitor and configure customer-facing systems.

Your Main Tasks

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal staff requiring hardware and software support
  • Monitor internal and production systems, responding to alerts and performing basic configurations
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems
  • Administer and troubleshoot M365, including Intune/MDM
  • Perform user account management and maintain network systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups and updates
  • Conduct troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of advanced hardware and software issues
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate technical teams and coordinate resolution
  • Document incident resolution and update knowledge bases as necessary
  • Train end-users on new hardware and software implementations
  • Support audio/visual setups for internal and remote meetings
  • Assist in IT project rollouts and participate in departmental meetings
  • Participate in the team on-call rotation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent work experience, in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a senior Helpdesk or similar internal support role
  • Advanced expertise in M365 administration and Intune/MDM
  • Public cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure is highly desirable
  • Proficient in Windows and macOS operating systems
  • Strong networking skills
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Minimal travel required
  • Central Ohio-based candidates preferred
