System Administrator II / Systems Administrator Senior - TS/SCI Clearance Required
Contingent upon contract award to Ball Aerospace and subsequent task orders.
Provide system administration for the National Air and Space Intelligence Center's (NASIC) Persistent Infrared Analysis Squadron (NASIC/GSP) to provide continuous availability (24x7) of software components and services to include security compliance, maintenance, and continuous monitoring.
What You'll Do:

• Provide continuous monitoring of software and services.
• Provide maintenance of unique software, applications, and databases across multiple networks.
• Respond to and resolve incidents and problems impacting PIR processing, exploitation, and dissemination services.
• Troubleshoot and triage complex problems to avoid costly downtime and outages.
• Proactively monitor and report PIR software components and services on classified networks.
• Ensure data and products are transferred and disseminated.
• Plan and schedule outages for update, installs or patches to minimize impact to PIR operations.
• Document and report all issues and outages.
• May require extended work weeks.

• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

What You'll Need:

• Systems Administrator II - Related Bachelor's and 5 or more years of related experience; or HS Diploma and 11 or more years of related experience.
• Systems Administrator Senior - Related Bachelor's and 8 or more years of related experience; or HS Diploma and 14 or more years of related experience.
• Each higher-level degree, i.e., Associate's, Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for additional years of experience.
• Related certifications may count towards years of related experience.
• Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field preferred.
• A current, active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
• Security+ certification.
• Linus scripting experience such as Bash or Python.
• Configuration as Code such as Ansible or Marathon JSON.
• DC/OS and Kubernetes experience preferred.
• Availability to work shifts supporting 24x7 operations.

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.

Compensation & Benefits:

• HIRING SALARY RANGE FOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR II: $94,500 - $127,750 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
• HIRING SALARY RANGE FOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR: $115,000 - $158,500 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
