The System Administrator / Network Administrator will grow their skills quickly in a fast growing and spontaneous environment. Utilizing their excellent communication skills, this person will bring a positive attitude and exceptional responsiveness to our internal customers. Operating as a Team is vital to our overall success. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of professional IT experience working with a broad range of technologies and solutions including at least three or more of the following technologies:
- Apple OS and IOS device support
- JAMF cloud MDM, SOTI/Mobi control EMM's, Microsoft Intune, SentinelOne endpoint security, Verkada Surveillance, Ubiquiti, Ohmni Telepresence, Ring Central Cloud VOIP, Google Admin console, Microsoft Office 365, Asana, Zendesk, Service Now, etc.
- Gmail Administration
- Google Meet and Zoom conferencing platforms
- Microsoft Server Virtualization
- Backup and Disaster Recovery Solutions such as Code42 Crashplan
- TCP-IP Networking
- Firewalls, Cisco Switches, MDF/IDF's, Ability to punch TIA-568B, VPNs and various Security Solutions
- Familiar with layer 3 switching, VLANS etc.
- Ekahau site survey and ChargePoint EV platforms experience a plus
Responsibilities:
- Software support- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Adobe suite etc.
- Hardware setup/support- new user deployments, printers, cables, mouse, camera, screens
- Account support- assist users with password resets
- Cloud based VOIP Phone support via Ring Central to add/remove users, troubleshooting
- Assist with installing and troubleshooting applications
- Generate new local user accounts
- Monitor dashboard, address all problems
- Maintain both physical and Wireless networks
- Map new printers
- Performs general tasks to aid in the ongoing support of the IT environment. Performs routine equipment and software upgrades.
- We're supporting roughly 500 employees at 3 facilities along with those WFH.
License Management and Inventory:
- Assist with maintaining licenses in all portals (MSFT, Adobe, Google, HiView), add/remove as needed
- Decommission and reprovision mobile devices via Apple Business Manager (ABM) and JAMF
- Keep all equipment organized and inventoried. For example, Mice, Keyboards, Monitors, laptop stands, spare laptops, all cabling etc.
- Associates of Science Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related experience.
- 1-3 years professional experience in IT support or network administration
- Demonstrated technical skill set and experience
- Able to work independently and as part of team
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills and a "we can do this" attitude
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to read/speak/write at a professional level.
- Demonstrated technical skillset and experience
- Resourcefulness - the ability to resolve issues creatively in a pinch
- Certifications in relating software preferred.
