JOB SUMMARY:

The Power Platform System Administrator works to empower business teams through the promotion of low-code, citizen-developed Power Platform solutions to realize opportunities and simplify business processes. This role will consult with business partners aiding them in the translation of complex business requirements into actionable development strategies. Working with peers and technology architects in a team environment, the administrator will work on projects, upgrades and daily operations related to the Power Platform/M365 environment, develop Power Platform solutions for our internal Technology Organization teams and be an escalation point for related support issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or another related field is preferred.
• A minimum of two years' experience designing and developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 services including Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint and Teams
• Experience managing and deploying Power Platform connectors
• Experience developing custom Power Platform connectors
• Experience with Dataverse and Power Virtual Agents is preferred
• Ability to translate business processes into development strategies
• Ability to analyze information from multiple sources for complex problem resolution.
• Ability to simplify complex subjects in a way that can be easily understood by less technical audiences.
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal. Ability to relay information to engineering teams to execute in a clear and concise manner.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet with business teams to promote development of low-code Power Platform solutions
• Consult with internal business teams on processes and opportunities that would benefit from Power Platform applications and automations.
• Provide training, resources and guidance on low-code development strategies to empower business teams to create and support their solutions.
• Work in a team environment to manage and maintain the Power Platform and Microsoft 365 environment including governance, feature updates, connector management and applying security policies.
• Design and develop Power Platform solutions for our internal Technology Organization teams
• Present opportunities for improvements to the Power Platform and Microsoft 365 environment
• Serve as a Power Platform subject matter expert on project teams and initiatives
• Develop custom connectors for third-party and in-house applications

Serve as third-level escalation support for issues impacting Power Platform solutions
