System Analyst (.NET/Java, Production Support)

Your Role and Responsibilities
The System Analyst is:-

• Manage and direct the day-to-day operations of IT services.
• Manage outsourced vendors and in-housed contractors to meet the delivery and operation needs of IT services.
• Manage change request service request and production support issues and ensure service levels are met;
• Review system designs and technical specifications to ensure all requirements are captured to meet system objectives
• Review post production issues and identify root cause and work with vendors on preventive measures;
• Plan execute and support system implementation software/hardware upgrades and security patches;
• Manage the verification of software patches and upgrades for applications;
• Measure monitor and continuously improve performances of IT services.

What we are looking for:
• Bachelor or higher degree in IT or equivalent
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in application production support on Java and .NET applications in both Unix and Windows operating environments.
• Experience in incident management problem management release management root cause analysis and deployment.
• Understand SDLC and experience working with business users various IT teams and vendors.
• Knowledge of web languages (e.g. HTML/CSS JavaScript);
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. Oracle Microsoft SQL) and application servers (e.g. IIS WebSphere Application Server);
• Positive attitude and able to work under pressure;
• Excellent technical troubleshooting skills;
• Self-driven creative and team-oriented person with good interpersonal skills;
• Sound understanding of the technical aspects of systems integration in an environment with diverse technology;
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence to gain consensus from multiple stakeholders when required;
• Possess strong information acquisition analytical and problem solving skills;
• Good organization skills and able to work with minimal supervision in a rapidly changing environment;
• Certification or formal training in ITIL will be an added advantage
