System Analyst

We are looking for a system and product design professional, who is ready to take on responsibilities that go beyond what is usually considered a system analyst job. You will take ownership and play a core role in the design and development of new features for our VMS. You will be defining the most effective and elegant way of implementing them, using your knowledge of modern technologies and our product and UX design guidelines and principles. We value your ability to explain complicated things in a simple way more than complex and detailed specifications.

What you’ll be doing

• Translate business goals into technical solutions, creating detailed specifications of the solution – from software architecture to UI mockups and prototypes
• Conduct evaluative research to ensure the suggested solution solves the identified problems or contributes to the achievement of the goals
• Present, explain, and defend proposed solutions to the stakeholders (including partners, sales team, development team, etc)
• Coordinate the implementation process, improving the cooperation between different parties
• Collect and analyze statistical data
• Perform general market and competitor analysis
• Act as an expert for external stakeholder
• Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutions.

What we’re looking for

• Excellent communication, analytical and conceptual thinking skills 
• 2+ years of experience as a system or business/system analyst / product manager (use cases, user stories, UML/BPMN diagrams)
• Understanding of development processes/UX principles
• Good English writing and speaking skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills 
• Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation
• Knowledge of relevant tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, JIRA, Confluence, etc.

Will be a plus:

• Coding experience.
• Expertise in Figma or other prototyping tools.
• Experience in agile methodologies and cross-functional team leadership.

Hybrid or Remote

The position is ideally a hybrid role and the office is located in Walnut Creek, CA. We will also consider candidates in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area and Portland, OR.
