System Analyst - Metrics
Job Description
Amentum has an immediate opening to provide Metrics and Analytical support to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) gathering data, analyzing the data, and providing our customer with measurable, usable data to allow them to make sound, actionable decisions ensuring the U.S. Navy's ships are capable to complete all assigned missions. Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain MARMC's Surface ship Total Ships Readiness (TSRA) Metrics database and support MTR Research
- Prepare rough draft TSRA/MTR letters, prior to routing to the Chief Engineer for review/approval
- Maintain the TSRA End of Visit database tracker
- Track prerequisite and end-of-visit messages, TSRA in-briefs and out-briefs, and TSRA Schedules
- Review tasking in TASS to ensure all required information is provided and up to date
- Provide TSRA VST support program data expertise
- Assist with the preparation and submission of all required reports
- Gather metrics for audits and other data calls
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Logistics or related field and 3 years of job-related experience, OR, a high school diploma and 11 years of job-related experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of database management experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in support of surface TSRA and or CMP processes
- Must be able to compile reports, charts, and tables based on established statistical methods and rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- May be required to direct and lead the work of others
- Must have an active secret US government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to maintain a secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting/working at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC)
- Ability to analyze the reliability in design and cost of Navy Combat Systems and/or Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) Systems and equipment
- Non-DTS Entry Agent (NDEA) experience
