We are seeking a highly experienced System Architect to join our team and design and oversee the architecture of our layer 2 zkEVM operator. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in distributed systems and blockchain technology.

• Design and oversee the architecture of our layer 2 zkEVM operator, ensuring it meets performance, scalability, and security requirements.
• Work closely with other teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure the architecture is aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and trends to incorporate into the architecture, such as new consensus algorithms or data storage solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation and diagrams of the architecture, including component relationships, data flows, and system interfaces.
• Act as a technical advisor and subject-matter expert on system architecture and related technologies.

• Strong background in distributed systems, blockchain technology, and zkEVM.
• Experience designing and overseeing the architecture of large-scale, complex systems.
• Strong understanding of system performance, scalability, and security principles.
• Experience with GoLang, Rust, or similar programming languages.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

The salary range for US-based candidates only will be determined throughout the interview process depending on experience and skills. Candidates should anticipate a base salary (not including bonus, equity or other benefits) of $USD[$176,000 - $366,000]
