System Engineer 3

Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required. Bachelors degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.

MANDATORY SKILLS: This 8 person team will become experts in HCI and their charter is to provide assistance and guidance to the agency developers as they migrate to the HCI platform. The tasking will start out as a research activity to understand what HCI is and what the path forward of that environment will be moving to. They will needed to understand the environment, keep a pulse on the what and when services are going to be present. They will become a resource to the agency assisting others as they are migrating to the HCI environment.
Skills beyond the standard labor cats are a working knowledge of AWS, AWS certification and training is a nice to have.
Telecommute: This will be limited, since the environment that they are required to become experts is on the customers network. Some telecommuting may occur but it would be limited.
A TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required for this role.
