System Engineer 3

MANDATORY SKILLS: Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required. Bachelors degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.

Certification: Sec+ certification or IAM-II equivalent certification for DoD-8570.

Required Skills:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Experience with automation frameworks & extensive programming/scripting experience (ansible, bash, Python)

Strong RedHat 8.x Linux experience, with strong scripting / troubleshooting skills, bash, python, ansible.

Understanding and working knowledge of PXE-Boot, KickStart, and UEFI. Good understanding of customer's STE/STN requirements.

Understanding of tools related to STE/STN ATO including Nessus, McAfee, to support DevSecOps CI/CD and security evaluation processes.

Strong working knowledge of Atlassian tools, e.g. Jira/Confluence.

Understanding of DevSecOps pipelines and use of tools like GitLab, BitBucket or similar. Good working knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, OpenStack, Azure, Google-Cloud, IBM, others.

A TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required for this role.

OPTIONAL SKILLS: Linux - Fedora, Ubuntu, CentosX, etc. Cloud - AWS, Azure. Jenkins. Office Automation - Word, Powerpoint, Visio.
