System Engineer

Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage Latin America (Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Colombia) and Canada A/V vendors to support conference room audio visual and video conferencing solutions.
• Manage local vendors to resolve technical issues, track incidents, coordinate building and room access, and escalate to proper support teams
• Manage local vendors to perform conference room health checks to ensure audio visual and video conferencing systems are operating at optimal conditions
• Responsible for procuring and managing spare parts with local vendors and maintain a healthy stock
• Partner with finance team to track support spending
• Track and document A/V inventory
• Support temporary A/V setup and tear down for large events including live streaming

Key Qualifications

• Spanish and Portuguese language skills to work with local vendors
• Experienced with local currency, tax regulations, procurement and shipping logistics
• Good understanding of video conferencing and AV switching and control hardware (Cisco, Crestron, Extron preferred)
• Good understanding of network technologies and security concepts
• Familiar with Apple device support (Apple TVs, iPads, MacBooks, iMacs)
• Excellent problem solving abilities
• Able to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and complete tasks on time
• Able to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels (staff to executive)
• Able to quickly adapt to new technical concepts and tools.
