About the Role

Salary.com is competitively positioned as a leading enterprise resource for compensation data, software, consulting, and education. As a Salary.com Systems Engineer you will be responsible for providing support in managing all IT systems within our organization.

• Located in Waltham, MA
• This is a hybrid position. Position is expected to be onsite most days but will have flexibility to work from home as well. We provide all technical equipment necessary.
• Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

• Base Salary Range: $74,000 - $82,000 plus quarterly bonus potential

A Day in the Life

• Manage and monitor both on premise and cloud systems throughout the company.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and application software.
• Support system management tools to ensure system availability.
• Evaluate business requirements, define technical problems and work with team to develop solutions.
• Assist senior system engineers in infrastructure improvements.
• Perform ongoing activities to maintain and enhance overall system performance.

Requirements

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related fields
• 1+ years of experience in IT system management
• System and software troubleshooting
• Experience with both Windows and Linux server systems
• Familiar with computer hardware
• Experience with cloud services such AW
