What You'll Be Doing
As System Engineer- Syncade MES (Manufacturing Execution System), your main function is to design, develop, implement, enhance, and maintain the MES software application that help optimize manufacturing processes, reduce errors, and increase efficiency, by integrating production operations with business systems and providing strategic guidance on applying right-sized, risk-based approach to system validation.
How You'll Succeed
- You will bring your technical knowledge and experience to design, develop, implement, enhance, and maintain MES solutions that integrate production processes with business systems to optimize manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Must have a strong understanding of corporate computer system validation requirements according to Lilly Quality Standards, providing technical guidance to the global and site teams ensuring quality of operations and deliverables.
- Must have a combination of technical and soft skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement across API Manufacturing sites.
- Must conduct testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of MES solution across sites to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
- Must stay up to date with emerging trends in MES technologies.
- Experience with GMP regulations and creating and maintaining quality deliverables.
- Ensure documented processes and procedures are in place for all activities to meet quality and compliance standards.
- Leverage an agile mindset and framework for the entire solution lifecycle including designing, implementing, automating, modernizing, maintaining, and optimizing solutions.
What You Should Bring
- Experience with MES technologies, S88 standard, with preferred experience in Emerson Syncade.
- Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices with demonstrated experience in computer system validations efforts.
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and best practices related to application and platforms operating within a S95 Architecture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and articulate complex technical concepts.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Additional Experience in the following would be preferred but not required:
- SQL databases,
- Microsoft Windows Servers
- Recipe Authoring
- ERP, LIMS or other manufacturing systems interfacing design, development, and/or support.
Your Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field.
- With a minimum of 2-3 years experience working with Emerson Syncade or other MES solutions.
- OR High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years relevant experience
