System Integration and Test Architect

Job Description

System Integration Test Architect will ensure that all integrations conform to requirements by leading the development and execution of test plans, reporting, and analyzing any defects or issues. She/He will be part of the System Integration and Test team in the MPT3000 product line and work closely with hardware/firmware, software, and applications engineering teams to ensure the end-to-end testing of product releases and drive methodology, coverage, and cycle time

Requirements

Required Skills: • ~10+ years of industry experience in system integration and testing/UAT of products with a mix of semiconductor/hardware, embedded and application software • Experience in adherence to the product development life cycle (PDLC), testing standards, and best practices (e.g., test planning, execution, and analysis)

o Experience in definition, creation/generation, and maintenance of test plans and test cases using development documentation and requirements, configuring test environment, executing associated test cases, and issue tracking o Experience and willingness to execute lengthy manual regression testing scripts. o Monitor and test connectivity of integrated systems and components o Create and execute automated test scripts using scripting and programming languages o Responsible for defect tracking, communication, and resolution processes o Maintain test result documentation that assists other teams in debugging and modification of software and systems • Comfortable querying data and working in a technical environment • Experience with automated regression testing tools to support a thick client environment as well as web-based interfaces. • Strong analytical problem-solving skills to assess the scope of issues and their impact to clarify the severity • Experience leading technical teams to mentor/rain and motivate team members in the path of upskilling from test execution to analysis and coverage cycle time improvement with shift left strategies including system testing to unit/module level testing; driving forums to maximize test effectiveness, particularly during the execution phase • Support program project planning and tracking activities • Possess strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of team members. Education • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science / Engineering / Electrical Engineering Additional Skills Preferred (but not required): Strongly Preferred Skills: • Experience with JIRA tool Optional Skills:
• Knowledge of .NET environment using Microsoft tools • Knowledge of web-based automation tools • Experience supporting developers in creating unit test scenarios
