The team you'll be part of

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN). You will be part of a high-performance team responsible for the New Product Introduction (NPI) of mobility products for 4G/5G/Advanced solutions. The new product introduction spans activities in internal labs, customer labs and field environments.

What you will learn and contribute to

Our organization is seeking a suitable candidate to support New Product Introductions for major NAM customers for new software, hardware, products, and solutions. Our organization is responsible to drive products and solutions to market entry and customer acceptance in North America.

Are you passionate about solving problems, troubleshooting issues?

As part of our team, you will:
• Organize and participate in New Product Introduction, Software, Hardware, Feature Testing & verification.
• Perform Testing in the lab/field to validate regression, as well as new features, data and log collection, analysis of results.
• Present and Review results including Key Performance Indicators with the customer.
• Coordinate and work with several internal teams to ensure project success.
• Support 5G, LTE and other products & able to understand protocols and messaging.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Identify potential issues in the field with respect to features and software releases.
• Analyze and troubleshoot customer problems related to radio networks
• Provide support and guidance to customers, as well as competence transfer to local and remote teams.
• Serve as customer interface and coordinate communication for services and issues between customer teams & Nokia.

Your skills and experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering or Computer Science
  • Solid technical knowledge of telecommunications networks, protocols, and technologies (5G/4G)
  • Hands on working knowledge of Radio Access Network
  • Ability to understand network interface protocols, protocol analyzers and network specifications.
  • Usage of network analyzers and other tools
  • Experience with UE log collection, analysis & tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems independently
  • Working knowledge of Nokia products, platforms, and services
  • Ability to interface and coordinate communications in between customer, regional management, and different tier support system
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and time management skills
  • Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
  • Team player, open communication, and ability to work with global teams
  • Willing to travel, as needed by the project
