We have an exciting opportunity for a System Security Specialist - Gateway Systems to join our team.
What you'll do all day:
- Assist with Cyber Security of the Gateway Networking System supporting the Gateway Habitation and Logistics Outpost (HALO) System, a critical sub-system of the Gateway Program which will return to the Moon
- Apply principals of Network Security to Networks and Distributed Systems of the Gateway System
- Apply principals of Fault Management & Systems Autonomy (FMSA) for evaluation of system level requirements
- Assist with Computer Based Control Systems (CBCS) development and validation of its contents
- Develop Visual Basic Software Applications forms for the NASA facility use
- Develop testing plan and testing reports forms for the facility
- Work and present schedule and progress to customers
- Must have good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Perform other duties as required

Minimum requirements for this position:
This position has been posted at multiple levels. Depending on the candidate's experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.
- Typically requires a HS diploma and 10 years of experience; OR BS in Engineering Technology or related field and 5 years of experience.
- Typically has CSIH, GCIH, GSE, ISSEP or equivalent and 0-3 years of experience
- Must have knowledge and understanding of Java and Python
- Must have knowledge and understanding of cyber security processes, methodologies, tools and technologies
- Must have good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Desired skills and experience for this position:
- Experience with C+ or C++ is a plus
- BS degree in Cyber Security or Computer Science or IT Related Degree from an accredited school
