System Services Representative

Introduction
System Services Representatives are the primary technical interface to clients for the coordination of hardware and software support and delivery of operational services.  Sound pretty important?  Absolutely!  You will advise clients of preventive maintenance configuration operation and environmental factors which may drastically impact product performance or impair the client’s IT operation.

Your Role and Responsibilities
The SSR(System Services Representative) is the primary technical interface to customers. Responsibilities include the on-site service and installation of high-volume products like printers personal computing and banking equipment. Additionally an SSR may also advise customers of preventive maintenance configuration operation and environmental factors which may impact product performance or impair customer’s IT operation. They may also perform activities such as systems assurance installation planning discontinuance and relocation of IBM and non-IBM systems and products. Some mechanical aptitude is helpful in this position. An SSR is accountable to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with their service delivery technical support and operational services in customer accounts. When critical situations occur they manage the situation until the problem is resolved. Strong Interpersonal skills and the ability to create a connection with customers are vital in this position.

Working hours are 8:30 am to 5:15 pm. With occasional requirements to work off prime shift and weekends including standby/on call rotation. Vehicle is required mileage is reimbursed.

The position requires an organized team player with multiple years’ experience in a professional services environment. Junior Professional Level candidates are acceptable.

Work Location: This position can be filled in Ottawa.
