System Services Representative

Introduction
System Services Representatives are the primary technical interface to clients for the coordination of hardware and software support and delivery of operational services.  Sound pretty important?  Absolutely!  You will advise clients of preventive maintenance configuration operation and environmental factors which may drastically impact product performance or impair the client’s IT operation.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and fix incidents as quickly as possible and make sure that the root cause analyses are done to prevent problems and resulting incidents from happening as well as to eliminate recurring incidents.
• Run and support the infrastructure system and solutions in the most effective way (day and on-call night & week-end support).
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including technical reports system specifications user manuals technical support guides and technical project deliverables
• Provide technical support and produce regular reports for clients/end user.
• Identify and acquire best available technical resource for resolving problems and issues escalate as required and inform stakeholder in a timely manner.
• Handle Incident Problem Patch Change Release and deployment tasks
• Develop a good working relationship with peers across the organization and work closely with the various IT functions in the Region.
• Adapt working hours to fit agreed business requirements.
• On-call availability occasional overtime and weekend work; sitting for extended periods of time.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor degree or above over 5 years IT related work experience
• Installation configuration implementation and maintenance of the full range of IBM power and storage and tape libraries
• AIX/HACMP/Linux one installation configuration and maintenance.
• Network configuration and trouble shooting.
• Good communication skill in Chinese and English
