System Software Engineer

We are looking for a System Software Engineer to help us design a data platform and its component of the Data Lens (SaaS based data management, security, and compliance product). You will join a small, impactful, dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• You will design and develop Data life cycle management such as Ingestion, pipeline development, data at rest strategy, Archive and Migration solution
• Work with leadership team and internal and external customers to align with company product design paradigm
• Able to work with Nutanix Global (mainly India and USA) engineering and multi-functional team
• Ability to design the component or system
• Code development
• Interface with cross functional team to understand the integration touch point
• Working experience with remote / global team.
• Mentoring and code review of Jr level engineers

Qualifications:

• BS/MS degree in Computer science or equivalent (PhD degree a plus)
• System engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience
• Strong in Python and Golang programming. C++ is a plus
• Understanding of container technology is a must
• Worked on Linux OS
• Understanding of Cloud technology (AWS)
• Any work on data engineering is a plus
• Understanding of storage/file system is a plus
