The team you'll be part of

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

What you will learn and contribute to

DUTIES: Perform requirement analysis, build-up, verification and reporting on verification projects like compatibility, system verification. Provide E2E high level Technical Support for 5G RAN products for 4G, 5G, Open RAN and Virtual RAN (Cloud) and its related technologies to internal and external customers in Pre and Post sale phases located in North America and global, which also include working with radio product eNB and test tools including: UE simulators and UE debuggers including QXDM, XCAL, and ELT; (5) traffic generators including: iPerf, SpeedTest, Wireshark, Putty, or Mobaxterm. Handle the issues directly with the Internal and external customers for escalated issues or issues impacting business. Perform issues prioritization and handling. Perform maintenance software delivery Testing, Release Testing and Software Upgrades. Provide and create technical training on needed basis. Create technical documentation for new product introduction and testing procedures. Define test cases and test descriptions for specified features and software releases. Support the Lab Engineers in Maintaining 5G RAN labs in Americas and perform System Build up including Commissioning & integration. Perform special projects for the organization's internal and external customers. Manage projects (Trial, Pilot, Demo, Upgrades) in the customer site on requirement basis. Provide feedback and share experience to develop tools and process to enhance team efficiency. Promote selected features & suggest internal feature development to boost the competitiveness of the organization's offering from own experience, customer feedback, standards, regulatory requirement. Provide analysis and troubleshooting of E2E call flows from Radio interfaces and Core Network. Setup End to End (UE-RAN-Core) test environment according to test plan, including SUT (System under test) equipment and other SW/HW test tools or equipment#LI-DNI

Your skills and experience

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:-. Master's degree in Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, Telematics, or related field and 3 years of telecom experience to involve: (1) radio wireless network in commissioning, integration, troubleshooting, software upgrade and on-site technical support; (2) testing with LTE / 5G RAN (trials) / cloud RAN with knowledge of standards & tools for interfaces with radio wireless network of LTE / 5G (trials) / cloud RAN technologies with some IP technology experience; (3) knowledge of standards & tools for interfaces with radio product eNB; (4) knowledge of test tools including: UE simulators and UE debuggers including QXDM, XCAL, and ELT; (5) traffic generators including: iPerf, SpeedTest, Wireshark, Putty, or Mobaxterm; and (6) setup end to end (UE-RAN-Core) test environment according to test plan, including system under test equipment and other software/hardware test tools or equipment.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: In lieu of a Master's degree, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, Telematics, or related field and 5 years of telecom experience. Also, 3 years of experience stated herein to involve: (1) radio wireless network in commissioning, integration, troubleshooting, software upgrade and on-site technical support; (2) testing with LTE / 5G RAN (trials) / cloud RAN with knowledge of standards & tools for interfaces with radio wireless network of LTE / 5G (trials) / cloud RAN technologies with some IP technology experience; (3) knowledge of standards & tools for interfaces with radio product eNB; (4) knowledge of test tools including: UE simulators and UE debuggers including QXDM, XCAL, and ELT; (5) traffic generators including: iPerf, SpeedTest, Wireshark, Putty, or Mobaxterm; and (6) setup end to end (UE-RAN-Core) test environment according to test plan, including system under test equipment and other software/hardware test tools or equipment.
