Job Description :
The main responsibility of this position is to design, develop and release Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to ensure quality, and on time delivery of various Continental products, including wireless modules and Body Control Module (BCM). Responsibilities include developing hardware and software of ATE which shall focus on functional exercising and monitoring of the Device Under Test (DUT). Drive generic test system concepts and methods to support Equipment and manufacturing (EM) test development team. Work closely with Continental project team members and Quality Laboratories (QL) to ensure successful Design and Product Validations (DV/PV) by leading Parametric/EMC/Environmental testing.

Core Responsibilities:• Support purchasing & quality groups to select the most appropriated components and vendors (suppliers) for the test equipment• Contributes to Continental product test strategies, definition, design, development, and release of parametric/EMC/Environmental test systems• Analyze, evaluate, and resolve, Test Incident Reports (TIRs) generated by ATE for DUTs• Interfaces with AQL to spearhead acceptance and handoff process of test equipment from external suppliers

Additional Responsibilities:• Participates in the kick-off of a new program• Contributes to Continental special technology circuit libraries and test techniques• Assesses project requirements to provide equipment quotes or new projects and design changes • Contributes lessons learned to Continental ATE global Community• Creates, reviews, and approves parametric/EMC/Environmental test specifications created by various Continental teams• Audit's validation results and signs off on equipment as business unit representative

Job Requirements

Job Requirements :
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering• Three years' experience in Automotive Industry• Communication skill set reflects ability to work effectively with offsite suppliers and team members • Good Experience with Ford, Stellantis and GM diagnostic routines and requirements• Good understanding of Vector CAN and LIN tools as applied to Ford, Stellantis and GM communication BUS standards• Strong knowledge and experience on hardware requirements and tests for GM, Stellantis or Ford OEMs• Experience in the development and validation of various automotive products including, BCM(Body Control Module), wireless products using BLE/UWB/RF/LF protocols, Door Control Unit (DCU) or Seat Control Unit (SCU).• Strong knowledge and experience in developing Automated Test Equipment (ATE). ATE shall have supported singular DUT while operated and monitored all I/O concurrently applied in an Parametric/EMC/Environmental testing.• Experience in execution of Machine Statistical Analysis (MSA) and Gage R&R.• Two years related experience to ATE specification creation and ATE supplier management• Intermediate Project Management skills• Intermediate National Instruments Labview experience• Intermediate National Instruments Teststand experience• Intermediate Vector CAPL test sequence development experience

Preferred Qualifications:• Five years' experience in Automotive Industry• Strong knowledge and experience in developing and executing in accordance to ASPICE model• Experience in the specification, development, and validation of automotive products operating at ≥60 Amps steady state. Body control modules (BCM) shall have had a minimum of 180 inputs and outputs total while operated and monitored concurrently.• Solid understanding and execution of Machine Statistical Analysis (MSA) and Gage R&R• Five years related experience to ATE specification creation and ATE supplier management• Experience reflects a minimum of two successful ATE integrations or developments through supplier management• Advanced National Instruments Labview experience• Advanced National Instruments Testst and experience• Advanced Vector CAPL test sequence development experience
